What is WhatsApp?

On June 13, 2013, WhatsApp announced that they had reached their new daily record by processing 27 billion messages. In January 2015, WhatsApp was the most globally popular messaging app with more than 700 million active users.
What can iFonebox do?
Concluding from the numbers above, adding new feature of recovering WhatsApp and WhatsApp Attachments is significantly important, especially for those who rely on WhatsApp so much that they keep in touch with friends and family with this globally popular instant messenger. As we all know, Apple provides iTunes/iCloud to back up your iOS device data, say, WhatsApp message and the related attachments, in case that you unconsciously lost the important data. iTunes/iCloud does offers possibility to restore lost data or file from iTunes/iCloud backup file, but it is impossible to selectively restore certain data, instead, you can only restore everything you have synced to iTunes/iCloud to your iPhone, and consequently, existing data and files will be overwritten and erased forever. iFonebox, however, can extract almost whatever from your iPhone, and iTunes/iCloud backup file and transfer to your PC and Mac freely.
According to the developer, iFonebox provides three ways for WhatsApp data recovering. The first way is to recover from iPhone whether you are on iOS 8 or below, and iFonebox can recover lost or deleted WhatsApp from iPhone running the most current version of iOS 8.3. And it also support a wide range of iPhone models, including iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone4, iFone 4s, iPhone 3GS. The Second way is to recover WhatsApp from iTunes backup, but make sure that you have synced your iPhone with iTunes before the restoring, since iTunes does not allow users to selectively download data like WhatsApp only to your iPhone or your PC. The third way is to recover from iCloud backup, except for the reason of not allowing selectively recover WhatsApp, iCloud offers 5GB free storage space only, so it is recommended to download the WhatsApp and WhatsApp attachment from iCloud backup.
