Start using iFonebox 2
iFonebox is a professional iPhone/iPad/iPod data recovery software which is very easy-to-use, you can get lost/deleted iOS data back within just a few clicks. The updated iFonebox 2.1 provides you three methods to recover data: Recover from iOS device, Recover from iTunes backup and Recover from iCloud Backup.
iFonebox 2.1 allows you to recover deleted Contacts, Messages, Call history, WhatsApp Messages, Notes, Calendars, Reminders and Safari Bookmarks from iPhone 6 Plus/6/5S/5C/5/4S/4/3GS, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 2 (Retina), iPad mini, iPad with Retina display, The new iPad, iPad 2/1, and iPod Touch 5/4. Meanwhile, you can use it to scan the existing Camera roll, Photo Stream, Message Attachments and Voice Memos on your device.Note: Don't use your device after you lost data from it. Any operation on your device can generate new data, which can overwrite your lost data and make it unrecoverable.
Step 1 Connect the device to computer
Install and launch iFonebox 2.1 on your computer, then connect your device to your computer, you will see the interface as it is shown below. Click "Start" to access the data interface.
Tips: If you use an iPhone 4/3GS, iPad 1 or iPod Touch 4, you can also start the scanning of your device by clicking on the "Advanced mode" button.
Step 2: Choose and Scan the data to be recovered
All the data categories in the device are displayed in the interface. Just click on the icon of the data you want to recover and the software will automatically start to analyze and scan it.

Step 3: Preview and Recover data to computer
When the scanning is finished, you can preview all the exported data, including the deleted ones. (Contacts, Messages, WhatsApp, Call History, Notes, Calendar, Reminders and Safari Bookmark) You can tick any items you want and transfer them to your computer by clicking on the "Recover to PC" button. If you want to preview or recover other data, just click the "Close" button to exit the current preview interface and click other icons to view other data.

Just a few steps, you can easily recover these data and save them on your computer as readable files.Note:Don’t sync your device with iTunes when you realize that you've lost data, or the iTunes backup file will be updated after the sync, and the lost data cannot be retrieved through this recovery mode.

All the iTunes backup files of your iOS Device which has ever synced with iTunes on this computer will be automatically found and listed here. You can choose the one you want and click "Select" to access the data interface.
Tips: If your iOS device backup is not displayed here, it's probably because your iOS device has not synced with iTunes on this computer or you save the backup somewhere else. You can click "Select more" to locate the backup file by yourself.
Step 2: Preview the data in iTunes Backup
Then you will enter the interface showing you all the data categories in your backup. Select the data you want to preview. The scanning time depends on the database in your iTunes Backup. You can preview them one by one before recovery.

When the scanning is finished, you can selectively mark and recover those you want by clicking the "Recover to PC" button on the bottom-right to save them on your computer.

iFonebox 2.1 is capable of extracting iCloud Backup which allows you to preview and recover all data in your iCloud backup. Therefore, don't backup your device with iCloud immediately when you find data loss.Step 1: Sign in your iCloud
Run iFonebox 2.1 and choose "Recover from iCloud Backup" as the recovery mode. Then you'll see the window below. Enter your iCloud account and password to login.
Note: iFonebox takes your privacy seriously. We never keep a record of any your Apple account info or content at any time during your sessions.
Step 2: Download and scan your iCloud backup
After you log into iCloud, the program will find all iCloud backup files in your account. Choose the one from which you're going to recover data and click on the "Download" button.
Run iFonebox 2.1 and choose "Recover from iCloud Backup" as the recovery mode. Then you'll see the window below. Enter your iCloud account and password to login.

Note: iFonebox takes your privacy seriously. We never keep a record of any your Apple account info or content at any time during your sessions.
Step 2: Download and scan your iCloud backup
After you log into iCloud, the program will find all iCloud backup files in your account. Choose the one from which you're going to recover data and click on the "Download" button.

And then in the pop-up window, you can choose the type of data you would like to download. This will reduce the time of downloading the iCloud backup file. After that, you can scan the iCloud content now. Click on the "Next" button to begin. It will take you some time. Just wait for a moment.

Step 3: Preview and Recover data from iCloud Backup
The scan will be complete in a few minutes. Once it stops, you can click the icon of the data you need in your iCloud backup file, like contacts, messages, photos, and more. Check them one by one and tick the item you want. Then click on the "Recover to PC" to save them on your computer with one click.

Tips: iFonebox 2.1 supports transferring recovered Notes, Contacts directly back to device. After scanning these two items, pick out the notes or contacts you need and click "Recover to Device" button on the interface to transfer the recovered Notes and Contacts directly back to your device. You can also do some modifications about the notes and contacts before transferring to computers or devices.
