During the 1990s, the world started to be more aware about the need for alternative media assignments and networks. These assignments were initially located in local geographic communities, but as they will grew, they linked around national and regional boundaries, supporting higher mass media alternatives for all people.

International Different Networks

A large number of countries across the world are in the middle of a citizen-driven movements to democratize information and media. These types of organizations and communities show it may be conceivable to create a multimedia system which is not controlled by the imperialist powers.

They are usually non-profit, non-commercial organizations that aim to increase the quality details and information within their countries. Not like imperialist electric power constructions which were more tips here inside directed, these non-profit networks are indie, not business, and try to take information in the 21st century.

A growing number of these networks work with community members in a variety of ways, including through the building of new interaction infrastructures and media channels reform campaigns. They also talk with local, countrywide and global communication reform coalitions just for social change movements.

This lack of access has led to the development of alternate networks (known as CNs in French), which usually provide affordable Access to the Internet through their own facilities. These CNs are a diverse group, with different models and motivations.
